Restrictions
After Surgery
•
Most patients can go to work the day after LASIK.
•
Do not squeeze your eyes for 1 week and do not rub your eyes
for at least 3 months.
•
No eye
makeup for 1 week (apply gently).
•
Take extra care when bathing and washing your face and hair
to avoid getting soap and water in the eyes during the early
healing period.
•
Do not
use any eye drops or eye washes except as directed. Avoid
tap water getting in your eyes for at least 2 weeks.
•
It is recommended that eye protection be worn while participating
in active sports.
•
There
are no restrictions on activities, but avoid rubbing or being
hit in the eye.
